Keynote Speaker

John Zeanah, FAICP CNU-A, is the author of Today’s Comprehensive Plan: An Adaptive Approach (Princeton University Press, 2026) and Principal of Interval, LLC. He served as Director of Planning and Development for the City of Memphis and Shelby County for seven years, where he led Memphis 3.0—the city’s first comprehensive plan in forty years and recipient of the APA Daniel Burnham Award. A national speaker and practitioner-scholar, his work focuses on adaptive planning, housing reform, and the implementation gap between planning vision, policy, and results.
